Pernille Spence

Pernille Spence is an artist based in Scotland and currently lectures in the Time Based Art department at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.  She has been creating installations, performances and moving image works since the mid 1990s, and has exhibited in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and online. Pernille’s work explores a visual dialogue between the human body, movement and space and the body’s physical/psychological limits and constraints with in these parameters. In 2006 Pernille was recipient of a Scottish Arts Council Creative Scotland Award.
